So far, so good with the start of the new year. Kids are still home for this last week. Not quite able to get the routine back in order but things are running smoothly.
Right now, my focus is making sure I don't go into an episode of pain and depression. That means going with the flow and choosing my battles. What can be handled, with in a reasonable arrangement, it gets handled. If it has to wait, then it simply has to wait. Can't make "everyone" happy "all" the time.
All comes down to "balance." I'm still making my lists of things to do, the night before. This really helps alot. My hot baths works wonders :). Once my son & daughter go back to school, I will make more of an effort to get the daycare lessons back on track. Right now, it's a day to day endeavor.
I've been looking for an expensive place to get a mammogram done. Cancer runs in my family. My mom passed due to cancer. It's been about 4 years since I've had one. So far, the place that I have found, will cost me $82. I think this to be a very good price. Besides, this is my life here. I do regular breast exams, but that's not enough.
Well, sorry my life is so boring lol! Happy thoughts and prayers :)

Thanks for stopping by my Blog.. It is such fun to meet new friends that way.. Best of luck with your New Year. I know what you mean about routine.. I think that means we're getting older.. I used to hate them, and now they just make my life so much more peaceful. haha
Bliss and blessings your way,
Staci
Hey Precious,
happy new year!! Thank you for dropping by and leaving so many comments, playing catch up eh?
your recent post had huge insight into how similar we are, the juggling, mood swings, depression, keeping control....
Due to this weather (ad yes it snowed again last night) I have had ot postpone 2 CBT sessions....ut am thank ful l have got my head around its workings and its gotten me through xmas and then the week here whereby everyone is still home...l get to work ok....maybe they are all whimps....lm on my fourth day off..and theyve had nearly 4 weeks...yawn...
anyhow, its the listmaking, so l dont attempt to much on one given day, the cbt, changing my thughts that are giving me confidence, and very oddly showing me that the people and things around me are not as l thought,
ood that..courage, confidence and a semblance of control....

Your not boring! Love your blog and just stay focued (that is my new catch phase this weekend) much appreciate your blog!
Staci,
No problem! I love meeting no people on the blog :). Blogging is such a cool way to feel connected. I have felt soooo much more confident by just meeting people in blogland.
I welcome your friendship! :) Thank you for responding.
FFF,
I've always related to your entries. I don't know if it's age or what, but I go through those mood swings a lot. I have been taking vitamin supplements that have help tremendously.
Lists sound crazy, but I find they work wonderfully. They really help to keep me focused. I tend to forget as the day goes along because I get pulled in so many different directions and I get overwhelmed. Before I answer, I check the list. That way I can say yes, no, wait till a certain time, etc.
You will be ok. Just do only what you can.
ChattyGirl,
Routine is the name of the game, gurl! LOL! I love organization and routine. That way I know what to expect. However, most days, I have to take it as it comes. I do rely on my lists. Without my list, I am truly, truly lost. I use my list as my guage of what I can or cannot do.
Love your energy! :) Thanks for visiting my blog.
