Inspiration at Last!

I wanted to share with you all that I have been inspired, by many of you, to pick up my hobby again. Though I am not an "artist" with watercolors, fine markers and other paints, I like to crotchet.

Here is the pair of slippers I made for my grandson, freehand, no pattern. Yes, lol, they look kind of awkwardly shaped, but they fit well. Of course, he won't need them until winter time.

Of course, with cute little feet like that anything would look wonderful.

I cannot knit at all. I believe it is easy - except when I try. My mother said I was impossible to teach.

I love your profile photo. So nice to put a face to a name.

Linda,

At first I was a little leery to put my face up. Did not know if it was safe.

Thanks for the compliments...:). It takes a lot for me to sit still. My lifestyle is such that everything seems to be hands-on from changing diapers to cooking to being a taxi...lol!

Lori,

Wonderfully stated, a "fiber" artist :). I like that! I'm working on a hooded scarf for my son. If it goes well, perhaps I can make a few dollars from the kids at his school.

If I gain nothing else, I do find it to be quite relaxing. It has been so long since I've done it, I forgot!...:).

Feels great!
